Men’s, Ladies’, and Young Adult Fellowships

There are three “Fellowships” at Christ the King: Men’s, Ladies’, and Young Adults (ages 13-18). The Men’s and Ladies’ Fellowship meets once per month, generally on Wednesday evenings. The Young Adult Group meets twice per month on Friday evenings. The purpose of the Fellowships is to facilitate the formation of spiritual friendships. Our hope is that these spiritual friendships result in discipleship, encouragement, and accountability. Generally, Men’s and Ladies Fellowship events are open to ages 13+.

The CTK Ladies’ Fellowship meets on the first Wednesday of every month for a dinner. They switch between meeting at a house in Canton and Marietta. Girls 8+ are invited. In the past, the Ladies’ Fellowship participated in a “Bible Reading Challenge” and worked through the book “Eve in Exile” by Rebekah Merkle. The group is also active on GroupMe, and is in the process of imagining ways to radiate the Truth, Goodness, and Beauty of King Jesus in our surrounding community. Katie Edwards is the leader of the CTK Ladies Fellowship.

The CTK Men’s Fellowship meets once per month, generally on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. The gatherings are informal and usually involve grilling meat, smoking cigars, singing manly hymns, praying for each other and our families, sipping bourbon, and playing cornhole. Men’s Fellowship gatherings are open to men 13 or older. About once per quarter, the men will lead the boys on a camping trip or long hike on a Friday-Saturday. Aaron Schepps is the leader of the CTK Men’s Fellowship.

The CTK Young Adult Group meets twice per month on Friday evenings at 6:30pm. At the gathering, they eat pizza, discuss an apologetics or theology topic for about 45 minutes, then play games and hang out. Occasionally there is a movie night and discussion. The Young Adult Group is open to boys and girls ages 13-18. Some topics we’ve discussed in the past are:
